We took an expensive sleeper from Oslo to Bergen, a small town with some extremely old churches we haven't yet seen. The reason we haven't seen them is because we immediately left to hop on another train. This train happens to be set on a twenty percent grade, which means as it winds up and down the sides of mountains, for every five meters it goes forward, it changes elevation by a meter. It was extremely steep.

We took this train, which happened to be full of mostly Japanese tourists, to see the famous Fjords of Norway. Since my trip to Alaska, I have never been so blown away by striking geologic features until I saw where we were. Words can not do justice to how steep, how sheer, or how awesome this particular geography was. I took pictures, which will also fail to capture the sights in an entirely different way.

This was worth the trip, right here.
